So, I felt that it was about time someone posted something. You know… considering it has been about 8 MONTHS since anyone posted… I am so sorry people, so sorry.
As some of you may know, Jayme went to England a while ago. He posted a couple of comments on Facebook before giving up, cause he’s rubbish like that. He twitted quite a bit, though. The first trip had a few complications so Jay decided to come back and go back to London at a later date, when things could be organized with more ease. Either way, he is currently in London again! And is still rubbish at posting. Also emails.
He’s been doing some adverts for radio an did the soundtrack for a T.V advert in Andalucia He will be coming back for Christmas and then returning to London at some point afterwards.
Joe! has been busy with various videos, and on Monday he will be filming the first division Granada F.C. He doesn’t yet know if he’ll be putting the results on youtube yet. Him and The Tall One have been setting up their own website which you can look at here: www.luxvideo.es You can see his new Hombres Solos music video, also the controversial (in Andalucia) UPA advert. And that brings us to a section I like to call: What Jayme Missed Out On…
Me and the Tall One have just bought this new camera! From now on we will be coming at ‘cha in Full HD and an amazing DOF (depth of field)!
So far the camera has not dissapointed, very easy to get the files off the camera with usb connection very automated shooting settings including auto white balance and great quality.
I suppose the only down points – for anyone considering buying one – are;
*The view-finder doesn’t flip 180º
*The auto-white balance is a bit precarious (to be expected really)
*Because of the massive lens the camera is quite front heavy and can ache your wrist after awhile…
*Confusing options; you can have manual shutter speed (which fixes the framerate but automatically adjusts the aperature to compensate), manual aperature (which fixes the aperature but automatically adjusts the shutter speed to compensate), and an option to fix them both (which fixes them in place, but compensates automatically with auto exposure) – So it’s not entirely manual in that aspect.
*Also because of the tele-lens, when you zoom the built in (great quality) quad-mic picks up the noise.
Apart from these minor things, it’s an amazing camera for just 1600€!!
¡The Tall One y yo acabamos de comprar esta cámara nueva!. De ahora en adelante traeremos Full HD y una impresionante DOF (profundidad de campo)!
La cámara no decepciona, ni mucho menos, es muy fácil sacar archivos de la cámara con conexión usb, tiene opciones de disparo automáticas incluyendo balance automático de blancos y gran calidad.
Supongo que los puntos flojos – para quien considere comprar una – son:
*La pantalla LCD no gira 180º
*El balance automático de blancos es un poco precario (de lo que realmente se espera)
*A causa de las lentes masivas la cámara pesa bastante frontalmente y puede cansar tu muñeca después de un rato…
*Opciones confusas; puedes tener velocidad de cierre manual (la cual compensa el framerate pero automáticamente ajusta la apertura), apertura manual (la cual fija la apertura pero automáticamente ajusta la velocidad de cierre para compensar) y una opción para fijarlos a ambos (la cual los fija en un lugar, pero compensa automáticamente con auto exposición) – Así que no es completamente manual en ese aspecto.
*También a causa de las tele-lentes, cuando haces zoom, el quad micrófono incorporado (de gran calidad) recoge el sonido.
¡¡Aparte de estas nimiedades, es una cámara impresionante por tan sólo 1600€!!
